Hello everyone, we went to the doctor today and I just wanted to give a quick update.
Melody and Madison each weigh a little over 3 pounds and both girls were moving their mouths during the sonogram. They are getting so big and are so cute!
We were glad to hear that my blood pressure is good, my feet and hands are not swollen, and the amniotic fluid level is good.
We set a tentative delivery date of December 22nd. We chose this date for many reasons, but mostly so that Destinee would be on Christmas break when Melody and Madison are born. Most twins are born around 36 weeks and I will be 38 weeks when we deliver so please be praying we will make it to that date if it is the Lords will. Also pray for a quick recovery for me after the csection, there is a chance that I will be in the hospital on Christmas which is a bummer but I want to do what's best for our family. We still have to meet with the babies heart surgeon and if we choose to do surgery we will have to move the delivery date up a week.
So that's all the new news. Thanks for keeping up with us.

ReplyDeleteMisty and Scott Bryant...and children ;)
Delgado family, I just want you to know that I'm praying for you here in Virginia - I heard about you from a Wednesday night bible study, and many of us have been checking up on you and praying for you for over a month now. I can't begin to imagine what you are going thru, but we serve an awesome God who has promised to never leave us or forsake us. So my prayers for you are for strength, wisdom, peace, and that you feel His presence thru all of this. Your blog is such a blessing and encouragement to me.
ReplyDeleteWe are praying and happy to hear that you got to see the babies moving around...what a joy that must be! I love that they were talking (sort of, at least they were practicing) together, just like a couple of girls...so cute!
ReplyDeleteWe can't wait to meet them! We will pray about the delivery date and your visit with the heart surgeon.
We love you! The Roho's
Just wanted to let you know that there is one more Believer praying for your family.
