Thank You!
I just wanted to do a really quick post and say thank you! Thank you to every who has been praying for us, and thank you to everyone who has blessed us financially. I haven't worked in about 13 weeks and we knew that we were going to have a lot of medical bills, but just like everything else I had a peace about it and I knew the Lord would take care of us. So I never stressed about money I just trusted God! With all that said thank you for letting the Lord use you in such a huge way to bless us! God has provided for our every need,... Blessed be His name!
Also thank you all for your prayers! I'm feeling really good! The first time they made me walk in the hospital I thought I was going to die,...and I wanted to, it hurt so bad! But by the next day I was able to get around a little easier and then the next day it was a little easier. I'm always a little bit more sore in the mornings but through out the day it gets better. Oh and I can stand up straight! I know that sounds funny but it was really hard to stand up straight in the hospital I thought for sure that I was always going to be a little bent over when I walked, but not any more. Some more exciting news, I slept all night with out waking up for the first time in about 8 months. I woke up feeling refreshed and rested. So thank you, thank you for praying,...the Lord is answering prayers.
Today was Melody and Madison's funeral, it was hard but so amazing at the same time. Melody and Madison's lives were celebrated and God was glorified! Margaret was there taking pictures,...so after I get them I will post them with all the details of the day.
We love you all and are thankful for the place that God has brought us to.
Love,
Vanessa

Vanessa & Jason, today was so lovely, it was tough to leave you & your family after it was all over but I think we all got some wonderful closure & were able to say good-bye. I will NEVER forget those precious girls & the impact they've had on my life. It's so exciting to know so many people are & will be uplifted by their special yet short appearance - just like REAL angels.

Jason & Vanessa Kay,
ReplyDeleteI feel inadequate to express my sentiments, yet I cannot close my day without saying a few more words with you both.
Today was very special and beautiful. I still love you and your family more than words can explain- I grieve over your sorrows and I rejoice in your blessings. I was so moved by the way G-d has granted you both the peace which surpasses all understanding, it made Scripture feel so alive to me.
I know this may seem small to you, but thank you so much for your kindness toward me today. I am so glad I was there to give you what love I have.
I came across your blog via someones blog who is my sons support group. I am very sorry for your loss and will be praying for you and your family!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see that you are from Keller, we just moved from Keller to Saginaw recently.
God bless you. Your girls are absolutely beautiful!
I am so glad you are feeling better. What a blessing. I am sure that helps alot. Glad you finally got some sleep! I cant wait to see pics of the memorial. I wish I could have been there.

ReplyDeleteWe would have been there with you today if we hadn't been traveling. We are all family in the Lord and we missed you all and thought of you. Heidi has told me that you celebrated the girl's lives and shared the gospel and that you were both amazing under such a tremendous loss. I have learned much from watching how you have handled the loss of your precious girls. Others were watching too and some day you can talk with your girls about how they helped draw people to the Lord. To God Be the Glory!

Your precious girls have been a witness to many of the glory of our God where I work, it amazes me how whenever I am looking at your page someone comes to my desk and I can show them a testament of true faith in God through you all... though I can only imagine the heartache you have without them here, I know that they are truly angels and that they were brought to this earth for the spreading of God's love... you amaze me Vanessa, I hope that someday if you all are visiting in El Paso the same time as my family that I will be blessed to meet you, I am continuing to pray for you and your family... maybe my mom and grandma greeted sweet Melody and Madison in Heaven, they loved babies, I like to think sometimes that they have met them and are helping God care for them!
ReplyDeleteI was just going comment on your last post to see how the service was and let you know I was praying for you all (still), but then I refreshed and saw this post.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see that you're healing physically so well!! My prayers are still with you... Glory be to God that Melody and Madison and whole and in peace with our Lord.
we love you so much and wish we could have been there. We can't wait to hug your necks in a few days.
