Anton is so beautiful!! Loved seeing his reaction to his Daddy coming home. Congratulations on your new addition, Delgado family!!
ReplyDeleteMy question would be, do you plan to retain some of Anton's cultural heritage in his life? How do you plan to do this? What ideas do you have for preserving some of this, if you do plan to do so?
Please keep posting lovely pictures & videos - he has a smile to light up the entire world!
So adorable! Praising God for all He is doing in your family!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a blessing to your family !!! BTW he so darn adorable !!
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely amazing!! Anton is absolutely amazing! I'm so happy he is part of your family! And I can't tell you how much I love that he and Judah share a birthday. :)
ReplyDeleteHow have Kenya and Judah reacted to having Anton home?
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog through some of the EB families blogs (Bella's Blessings and Before the Morning). I thank God that He provided parents and a family through you for Anton--he's going to be so loved and is so loved already! He's such a smart little man, and I'm so happy he has a home.
I have a question! I follow Jonah's blog and I am wondering why Anton's hands are not bandaged in such a way that his fingers can move or be separated from one another? Seems like this type of bandaging might promote webbing in the long run versus separating the fingers. Just curious :) Thanks, and I am SO happy Anton is home with you!
ReplyDeleteAre you getting help paying for bandages? I am praying for you all and little Anton. Such sweetness here.
ReplyDeleteI learned about your journey when you spent time with Patrice learning to care for a child with EB. I'm so happy Anton is finally home with his family where he belongs. Ya'll were blessed to have found each other.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if his hands and feet will always have to be bandaged? Will he be able to walk one day?
Rachel
He is so cute and so smart!! I am so excited for you all!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of questions for your FAQ...will you be able to unwrap his fingers at some point? Does he speak English? How are the other kids adjusting to their new brother?
So happy to see Anton home with such a great family. Thank you for keeping us updated! Will he be able to have his fingers unwrapped or is the concern that he would cause too much damage to himself?
ReplyDeleteTruly adorable. Awesome guys!
ReplyDeleteWow! Very smart indeed! He looks very happy! Congratulations! So happy for your family! What a great idea to teach him sign language!
ReplyDeleteWow! He is very smart! He looks so happy! It is wonderful to see him with his FAMILY! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Why are his hands wrapped up?
ReplyDeleteThis video is soooo precious!!! Thank you for posting this Vanessa!!! We are praying for you guys!!! Much love from Boise, Idaho.

He is too cute!! We use sign language for my daughter too...along with talking...and I love that we can understand eachother easier.
ReplyDeleteMy questions: How severe is Anton's EB? What is his routine on bandage changes...do you have to do them daily? How is everyone adjusting to him finally being home?
Will you be making your adoption blog public again at all?
ReplyDeleteso happy for your new addition!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I love how he acted when daddy walked in. He is such a doll. God bless all of you.
ReplyDeletein every picture of your family you could really see the love that flow between you all, even though i dont agree with everything you say you truly are an inspiration to good parenting and a loving relationship!
ReplyDeleteI found you through Patrice's blog and am overjoyed that Anton is finally in your home! I saw this video yesterday and have been thinking about him and how he seems to already be thriving in your care. Congratulations and I can't wait to continue to see how Anton does with your love!!! Thank you for allowing strangers to be a part of this and to allow us to become better people just because of you.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you guys!!! I have many, many questions, but I will stick to a couple:
ReplyDelete1. How is he taking his transition away from his nanny (praise the Lord he had a steady, loving caregiver with whom to form a strong attachment in his first couples of years of life, thus preparing him for the wonders of a loving family life!)?
2. Are you planning on doing the BMT in the long run?
My heart is so full of joy for your family!!
Lilia B.
Absolutely LOVEDDDDDDDD seeing this!
