Kenya shares Judah

For all of the people who have been asking if Kenya lets anyone else hold Judah watch the video and you will all have your answer:

Judah Adoniram... Day 3

Yesterday was another good day, nothing more to say except thank you too all the visitors who have graced us with your presence, and Vanessa and the baby are doing good and we are expected to go home today...

Now onto the pics:

Margaret Lake (who shot our wedding, the birth and funeral of Melody & Madison, and other family events) dropped in and took a few shots:

Our friend Mandy (who just had her baby yesterday!) got Judah the cutest onesie:

Yesterday we listened to a biography on the missionary we partially named our son after, Adoniram Judson, we pray our son would have that zeal for Christ like Adoniram Judson did. We also picked Adoniram because of what it means... my God is most high!

And remember Destinee? Well she is old enough to drive and she drove herself to come visit little Judah, she is a proud aunt:

We thank God this this precious gift!

For You [God] formed my inward parts;
You knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are Your works;
my soul knows it very well.
- Psalm 139:13-14

Judah Adoniram... Day 2

Throughout most of the first night, little Judah was up every couple of hours nursing. But finally got up just to hang out around 6 AM:

Only an hour after that he was ready to nurse again and go back to sleep with mommy (the nursing has been going great!):

For those who have had c-sections, you know how important is to walk. Well, Vanessa is feeling better after this c-section than she did with the twins. After the first night we've already taken several walks up and down the hall:

As previously mentioned, Kenya just loves her new little brother and is very very protective of him already. As soon as anyone comes into the room (no matter who it is) she will either ask, "Are they gonna take him away?" or say, "Baby is doing fine!" (that way they won't take him and just leave). It is really cute to see her interact with him and we wonder if she is so protective because when we had Melody and Madison we told her that the nurses were coming to take them soon (after they had died) and we weren't going to see them anymore... not sure though, Kenya won't tell us why she gets so offended when someone else holds him or a nurse takes him for a checkup:

She especially loves to cuddle and sing to him songs she made up:

One of our friends that visited bought her new baby which is named "Colt", they is why she starts calling Judah by the name of Colt:

Judah Adoniram's birth,... the pro photos!

They lifted the baby up to show me (Jason) it was a boy!

As they were cleaning him and checking all his stats I was taking pics and took them over to show my wife (Vanessa):

It was such a joy to hear our baby cry!

And always a joy to hold:

It was even better to get to hold him out of the operating room and with Judah out of observation (while his blood sugar was low and breathing irregular [it is all good now]):

Kenya just wanted to hold and hold her new little brother:

In fact, she would get very, very offended whenever someone else was about hold him:

Proud grandmas:

ROCK & ROLL!

More baby pictures

Hey guys it's Vanessa I just wanted to post some more pictures. I'm felling good just a little tired. The baby's breathing is a little fast so he is in the nursery/ observation. I can't wait to get to spend time with him but I'm enjoying some rest.

Enjoy the pictures.
