Facebook update from Help Anton

Day +140 Day 27 of this hospital stay Anton is more sick today then he has been this whole admission. His temp is 103.2 and he has thrown up at least 15 times today. I have no idea how he is throwing up because he hasn't eaten in about a week. He is getting all of his nutrition through his iv right now. Dr. Tolar and the BMT doctors are working as hard as the can to figure out what is wrong with Anton. They charted his fevers, antibiotics, and respiratory rate from the past four weeks to see which antibiotics were helping and which ones weren't. Based off of that they are using the 3 antibiotics that worked the best to see if we can clear up this infection. They are switching over most of his meds to iv because he can't keep anything down. They are going to do an upper GI scope on Monday to get biospies and check for Graft vs Host. I forgot to post a few days ago that he has been getting breathing treatments 3 times a day to help with his pneumonia. He only had one positive blood culture so at least there is one bit of good news. He doesn't have a blood infection.
