Tiny Treasures Tuesdays - Art Fest

For those of you who don't know, I have an in home daycare named Tiny Treasures and on Tuesdays I tell y'all what we have been up to (if I remember).

A few weeks ago Jason, our buddy Junior and I took the kids to the Fort Worth Main Street Art Fest. It was such a beautiful day and there was so much to see.

Kenya loves riding next to Levi in the double stroller. (Oh and if you need a double stroller the Jeep one is GREAT! The seats recline, it is light weight and really easy to push.)

Gabye and Kenya loved this cow they both wanted to ride it.
Free art for kids is always fun. Kenya made a bunny and Gabye made a cat.

The girls also enjoyed making sand art which wasn't free but was worth the 5 bucks.

This piece of art was a HUGE hit!
Levi was worn out!

That was our exciting day at the Fort Worth Main Street Art Fest :)

Tiny Treasures Tuesday - Kenya Sooths Crying Baby

It's been a long time since I have done a Tiny Treasure Tuesday post so I will refresh everyone on what it is.

I have an in home daycare. I love watching kids so on Tuesdays I fill y'all in on the going on's in my home :)

This is a video of Kenya "helping" Levi stop crying. Enjoy.

Oh and if you think she is wearing a diaper she is I am the most inconsistent potty trainer ever. But it works for us for some reason. She is in big girl panties most of the time but if I'm having an off day I am able to put a diaper on her and it doesn't really effect potty training.

FYI: I did pick Levi up at the end of the video.

In case you can't understand the songs Kenya is singing they are as follows (she joined 4 together):

Jesus, Name above all names
Beautiful Savior, Glorious Lord
Emmanuel, God is with us
Blessed Redeemer, Living Word

Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above ye heavenly host
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen

Jesus loves me this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong,...
Yes Jesus love me (3x) The Bible tells me so.

Soon and very soon we're going to see the king.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, We are going to see the king,...

Oh and thank you all so much for your kind words about my new hair do.
Vanessa :)

Tiny Treasures Tuesday - Jason's pile-o-leaves

Since my wife is laboring over the stove to make us some pizza (frozen pizza) ;) I'll do this post since I took the pics and created the scene.

Well, though it is almost springtime, I finally am getting around to raking. Long story short, the kids thought a big pile-o-leaves would be great fun to play in:

Oh the joys of just being a kids and ruining a adults hard work ;)

Soli Deo Gloria!

Tiny Treasures Tuesdays - Cowgirl Museum

Jason and I thought it would be fun to take Kenya and Levi to the Cowgirl Museum. We had so much fun that my Mom and I took Kenya, Gabye, Levi, Dilan and Blake the next week. Dilan and Blake are my nephews, my Mom watches them while my sister Brandi is at work. The pictures below are from both of those trips.

One of my favorite things in life is having my van full of kids in car seats! I couldn't believe we fit 5 car seats in our van, one was built in but still that is impressive!
The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is temporally closed so they moved a lot of their exhibits over to the Cowgirl Museum. The kids had so much fun playing with all the different play areas.

Here they are buying food.
Gabye buying bread.

Here I am with Levi in the Ergo carrier (to answer my good friend Lindsey's question, you can use the ergo with smaller babies. Ergo sells an infant insert so you put the baby in just like you would a sling. Then your hands are free.)

Here is Dilan driving the train.

Levi chillin by the camp fire
Resting in the tepee Kenya riding the horse

Levi looks really excited to be on the horse with KenyaAt the museum they have this fake horse that you ride and it records a video of you riding the horse in a rodeo. When I say ride I really mean you just sit on it, the horse doesn't move unless you rock it back and forth. This is Levi sitting on the horse for his ride.

Here is the video of Levi's ride

Here is the video of Kenya's ride

I hope yall enjoyed Tiny Treasures Tuesday!
Have a great week.

Tiny Treasures Learning Center - My in home daycare

Hello again blogging world. Sorry it's been so long since my last post things have gotten very busy.

As most of you know I have an in home daycare. After we found out that there was a possibility of me miscarry the babies Jason and I decided that I wouldn't work any more. We wanted to give the babies the best chance we could and we know that me working full time was not an option at that point. So I was on bed rest for about 13 weeks including the time I was resting after Melody and Madison were born. I wasn't sure if I was going to reopen the daycare because we didn't know if the girls would make it or not and we didn't know how I would feel afterward. After thinking about it for awhile I decided that I did want to watch kids again.

I have always LOVED watching kids and I really missed it. So three weeks ago I reopened my in home daycare. This week was my first full week though. I have really enjoyed having a lot of kids in our home again.

Kenya had a hard time at first but is doing much better now. She did not like sharing her toys or her Mom but she is a fast learner and is adjusting well. She loves having a friend close to her age and two babies to help with.

Below is Gabye, she is four. Gabye and Kenya love getting dressed up and having tea parties. Gabye picked out a bow for Kenya and three for herself it was so cute. She is really sweet and
easy going.

Gabye and Kenya are so silly and have so much fun together.

This is Levi, he is almost three months old. Today was his first day and he did great! Kenya loves to give him his bottles and she likes to tell me, "Mommy, he needs his passie." It's so cute she loves to help with both of the babies.

Levi is also a very good sleeper which is so nice.

So this is my life now Monday through Friday: four kids, age four and under. They are not all full time but it's still great practice since Jason and I want a big family. I love taking care of them all and I'm so thankful to be able to watch them! I pray yall have a great day.

Love,
Vanessa D
