Our local fire department blessed our family so much by spoiling our kiddos rotten for Christmas. They invited us to come to the fire station and see the trucks and we were finally able to make that happen today. They were so sweet with our kids and let them climb in the fire truck, turn the lights on, turn the siren on, and Judah even honked the horn (that was LOUD!!!). Then they showed us around the fire station and spent lots of time explaining how they lived while on duty. It was such a neat experience and such a joy to watch our kiddos interacting with the firefighters. Anton has never decided what he wanted to do when he grew up until today and he has finally decided he wasn't to be the boss firefighter and he wants to push the buttons in the fire truck. I asked Anton what his favorite part was and he said "getting to take a picture with the firefighters." We had so much fun and are so thankful for the memories we got to make tonight. To our firefighter friends who are reading this THANK YOU guys so much, I'm not sure if you will ever know how special today was for our family but I sure hope you guys realize what a gift y'all gave us tonight.
