Can I just say that Haltom City has the BEST Firefighters EVER! They picked our family to do Christmas for this year and bought our kids a TON of gifts. Then we took them dinner to say thank you and they spent over an hour letting the kids play in their firetrucks and showing them around the fire station. They called yesterday and said they wanted to bring something by for our family. They brought over 7 firefighters and 2 firetrucks and a check to help with the cost of temporally relocating to MN. Then they spent well over an hour with the kids showing them the equipment in the trucks, letting the kids play in the fire trucks, letting them honk the horn and take turns in the drivers seat and passengers seat (they all actually liked the passenger seat because that's where the "boss" sits). Then they stayed and listened to Anton telling them all kinds of stories. Right before they left they all signed Anton's wraps which he LOVED. Anton DID NOT want to throw those wraps away. We are saving the wraps they signed and are going to frame them with the pictures from their visit. We seriously love our local fire department! - February 11, 2015 at 09:55PM http://ift.tt/1r2lUi4
