Facebook update from Help Anton

We went to clinic today and got to meet Teya and her family! Teya had her bone marrow 6 months ago and is doing great! It was such a joy to get to meet them. Teya also brought Anton a super soft blue elephant which he is happily snuggling right now. Anton was pretty tired yesterday and today, he also has some pretty weepy wounds, and a low grade fever so they admitted him back to the BMT floor. He will get IV antibiotics and hopefully get out of here in a few days. When we were walking from clinic to the BMT floor we got to see our very dear friend Mrs. Christie who brought a bag full of goodies for Anton! So happy we got to see her for a minute. We also got to see Baby Cole's Dad. Baby Cole will be getting a bone marrow transplant in just a few weeks. Anton's blood counts have dropped but they said that is totally normal. I am a little bummed out by how low they are but also glad we are in the hospital where they can watch him closely. WBC 1.5 ANC 0.9 Praying his numbers will rise soon and he will feel better. I will keep y'all updated. - April 13, 2015 at 02:00PM
