Judah Adoniram... Day 2

Throughout most of the first night, little Judah was up every couple of hours nursing. But finally got up just to hang out around 6 AM:

Only an hour after that he was ready to nurse again and go back to sleep with mommy (the nursing has been going great!):

For those who have had c-sections, you know how important is to walk. Well, Vanessa is feeling better after this c-section than she did with the twins. After the first night we've already taken several walks up and down the hall:

As previously mentioned, Kenya just loves her new little brother and is very very protective of him already. As soon as anyone comes into the room (no matter who it is) she will either ask, "Are they gonna take him away?" or say, "Baby is doing fine!" (that way they won't take him and just leave). It is really cute to see her interact with him and we wonder if she is so protective because when we had Melody and Madison we told her that the nurses were coming to take them soon (after they had died) and we weren't going to see them anymore... not sure though, Kenya won't tell us why she gets so offended when someone else holds him or a nurse takes him for a checkup:

She especially loves to cuddle and sing to him songs she made up:

One of our friends that visited bought her new baby which is named "Colt", they is why she starts calling Judah by the name of Colt:

I have been crying tears of joy for your family as I look at these photos and watch the videos (especially of his first cries and when Jason announced Judah's birth to family and friends)! Congratulations to your family! He is absolutely gorgeous! What a blessing from God. You know Melody and Madison are watching their new little brother from Heaven with smiles on their faces.

Lots of love,
Melissa
