Hi Everyone! I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU so much for all of your sweet comments, love, support, and sweet gifts you have sent our family. We are overwhelmed and thankful! The thing I would love for you all to know is we are NOT amazing people, ha. I know what you are thinking but hear me out. On our own we never in a million years could have gone through everything we have and still joy. We have been through quite a lot in our ten years of marriage and through it all God's grace has abounded, he has given us the strength to get through it all, and above everything else we pray that God has been glorified through our lives. Not because of anything we have done but because of what He has done in us and through us. even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ. Ephesians 1 4-9 Adoption is such a beautiful thing to us because God adopted us as sons and daughters through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross not based off of anything we did, could have done, or will do. You see on our own we could never be good enough to go to heaven. Jesus bore the wrath of God on the cross for sinners who would repent of their sins and put their full trust in Jesus alone for their salvation. He didn't stay dead but rose three days later Jesus is ALIVE!!! But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2: 4-9 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 So please know when you see how we love each other it is only because God first loved us. To God be the glory!
