Facebook update from Help Anton

Day +176 Anton is having a scope of his stomach done as we speak in his ICU room. I'm so gald he didn't have to go to the o.r. I was in there when they were putting him to sleep and he was being hilarious. He was pretending to be a power ranger while trying to pop bubbles. It took an insane amount of propofol, and katamine to put him to sleep. It shouldn't take long to do the scope. They are checking for graft versus host disease in a stomach as well as any strictures. We should be going back to the BMT floor tonight as long as his breathing stays stable. - September 18, 2015 at 08:43AM
